The Line and Dot

I recently came across a website previously unbeknownst to me in my web travels, when the Nylon blog raved about Rachel Bilson's $70 cream blouse. Further inspection revealed an online clothing store, thelineanddot, full of hidden treasures that while being more expensive than the high street, imitate designer looks for a fraction of the cost. One item that I am deeply coveting is the black and white partially sheer polka-dot dress pictured below.

While I like the shoes that the model is wearing, to avoid looking monochromatic I would suggest wearing a bright red lip and matching red heels to stand out from the crowd. As always with a bright lip keep your eye make up simple, and to take this outfit from day to night pull your hair back in a high ponytail, smoke out your eye makeup and add a blazer.

The following two dresses ace the romantic look, which is perfect for summer. With these you should keep accessories and make up light, and a simple braid (using the front section of your hair, as the model does) would complete the look nicely.
